Lloyd has been synonymous with exclusive leather belts for over a century. Founded in 1905 as a tape weaving factory in Wuppertal, our company has grown over the years into a belt specialist. In 1990, Lloyd was taken over by the famous Rudolf Böckenholt GmbH, a bag and leather specialist from Münsterland. In order to exploit the synergies, the two companies moved together to Raiffeisenstraße in Ostbevern in 1994. While many companies have moved their production abroad, we have remained true to our homeland and combine all areas here - from design and development to purchasing, sales, production, final inspection, finished goods warehouse and shipping. This makes us a particularly flexible, reliable and sustainable brand.
Our long-term partnership with manufacturers, the vast majority of whom are certified to Leather Working Group sustainability standards, ensures our high quality standards. We are proud to say that we are now successfully represented with Lloyd in over 2000 outlets in over 20 countries. Our headquarters and our team have grown steadily over the years and, in addition to traditional craftsmanship, we rely on the most modern manufacturing processes.
